Genevieve Nnaji has revealed the major problem restricting Nollywood movies from gaining global acceptance.

The actress while speaking on CNN where she spoke on her Netflix acquired film, ”Lion Heart,” said language is the major barrier preventing Nollywood from going global.

She also identified lack of funds for movies as one of the challenges of the movie industry.

”Lion Heart” is the first original film from Nigeria to be owned by the American movie streaming platform ‘Netflix.
